Education Sponsor Program
The Democratic Republic of Congo have few facilities for teaching disabled children, who mostly face virtually total exclusion. These Children have enthusiasm for learning, despite their lack of resources. We have been helping them with no funding and no special resources. We started by raising funds and getting donations such as; school materials and equipments. We also organised meetings with the local communities to explain our objectives, so that we can raise support about this program. We informed parents of their children's rights to education, and support them to cover 25 % of the school fees. We aim to make a sustainable, long-term difference to the lives of disable children through the foundation and development of fees for schools.
This program aims to enable disable children to attend school and complete their education by providing support for their school fees, uniforms and other educational necessities and basic needs through local and international sponsors. The current cost of sponsoring one child per year is $200 for Primary school and $350 for High school. We invite churches; individuals, companies and other sources to commit to sponsor our disabled students with scholarship money for their 6 years of primary and high school.
SPONSORING A DISABLE CHILD'S EDUCATION WILL GIVE HIM/HER A LIFE TIME CHANCE TO SUCCEED IN LIFE. SUPPORT THIS PROGRAM BY PROVIDING FUNDS FOR 35 KIDS SELECTED AS RECEPIENTS OF THE YEAR 2010. 16 KIDS WOULD LIKE TO FINISH PRIMARLY SCHOOL, AND 19 ARE WILLING TO FINISH HIGH SCHOOL.
